Particle Physics

The group of particle physics involves around twenty staff members and some visitors. They focus on the fundamuntal constituents of matter and their interactions.

Since there is a theory, the Standard Model, that has been tested experimentally at length, it is natural to describe the activities of the various teams depending on whether they work within or beyond the Standard Model. But this separation should not hide that their tools are common and that many LPT researchers work on several subdomains.
