My research activities are devoted to physics of elementary particles.

My subjects of study concern flavour physics and use numerical simulations of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) on a lattice.

That approach, based on the first principles of quantum field theory, is helpful to quantify non perturbatively the confinment of quarks in hadrons. It is necessary to a complete analysis of experimental data that are collected at large colliders to detect new physics in so-called low energy processes (oscillations, radiative decays) with initial or final states made of hadrons. Those processes, sometimes highly suppressed, are mediated by exchanging virtual particles in quantum loops or by new couplings that are forbidden in the Standard Model.
