The Particle Physics groups of LPT Orsay and IPHT Saclay invite application for a postdoctoral position based in both of these institutions. The position strats in July 2019 and ends in September 2020 (extension by another year will be possible if additional funding is secured)
This postdoctoral fellowship is funded by "Labex P2IO" (Laboratoire d’Excellence des deux Infiniset des Origines) and awardes to Adam Falkowski and Brando Bellazzini for the project entitled "Modern Amplitude Methods for Effective Field Theories". The prospective candidates are expected to have some prior experience with S-matrix methods (unitarity, positivity bounds, dispersion relations, spinor-helicity formalism, recursion relation, etc...) and with effective field therories.
Both the LPT and IPhT are located in the suburds of Paris, France. They carry out a broad range of research in particle physics, including QCD, collider phenomenology, astroparticle physics, lattice, strings, CFT. Further information is available at http://ipht.fr
